Rules Regarding Transfer of Reservation Tickets

1. Section 142/1 – If any person, who is not authorised to sale tickets, 

(a) sells or attempts to sell any ticket or any half of a return ticket or 

(b) parts or attempts to part a ticket against  which reservation of a seat or berth has been made or any half of a return ticket or a season ticket, according to this section he shall be punishable with imprisonment up to 3 months or with fine up to Rs. 500 or with both.
